The basic aim behind inventing plastic surgery was to repair damages caused by wars, here are some patients of the famous surgeon Harold Gillies during World War I and World War II. Sir Harold Delf Gillies was a New Zealand-born, and later London-based, otolaryngologist who is widely considered the father of plastic surgery.
